Prince George Cantata Singers is pleased to announce the appointment of Carolyn Duerksen as our new Music Director.
We are a mixed-voice, non-auditioning chorus based in the heart of the interior and take pride in being a space where community members can come together and enjoy the simple pleasure of singing as a unified group. We perform several concerts each year for the wider community, and we explore all kinds of musical themes.
Our season runs from September to May each year with weekly rehearsals on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:30pm. We rehearse at St. Michael’s Anglican Church Hall, located in downtown Prince George.
Have questions? Please get in touch, we'd love to hear from you!
We look forward to singing with you soon.

Our aging risers no longer meet modern safety standards.
We’re raising $6,400 to contribute toward the purchase of six new StageRight Alla Breve professional-grade riser sections with safety railings — creating a safer, more accessible stage for every singer.
The total project cost is $32,000, with 80% funded through grant applications.
We’re counting on our community to help raise the remaining $6,400 to make this project a reality.
These new risers will also support collaborations with the Prince George Symphony Orchestra and community events like the Prince George & District Music Festival, benefiting the performing arts community as a whole.
Donations of $100 or more will sponsor a platform, railing, leg, or cart and receive Community Sponsor recognition (you may remain anonymous if you prefer).
All donations of $20 or more will receive a tax receipt.
Your gift helps lift every voice and strengthen the foundation of music in Prince George. Thank you!
If you prefer to donate by cash, cheque or e-transfer, please email us at pgcstreas@gmail.com.
