The Prince George Cantata Singers are committed to bringing the best in Choral music to our community, increasing the skills and confidence of our members while providing the atmosphere for members to experience the joy and fellowship associated with choral singing.
The Cantata Singers are committed supporters of the arts in Prince George. We are a member of the Community Arts Council, and regularly collaborate with other community performing groups. We are also members of the British Columbia Choral Federation (BCCF) and are affiliated with the Canada Arts Council and the Association of Canadian Choral Communities (ACCC).
Come Sing with Us!
We are open to anyone 17 years and older with a pleasant singing voice and a willingness to learn. No previous experience is necessary and auditions are not required, however the Music Director may hold a voice session to determine placement in the choir that best suits your voice.
​Registration for new and returning members is both September and January either before or at the first rehearsal of the term. This will be the first Wednesday after Labour Day and the first Wednesday after the New Year.
​We rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 7 pm to 9:30 pm at n Church, St. Michael & All Angels Church, 1505 - 5th Avenue (5th & Victoria) in Prince George, BC. In addition to the regular Wednesday rehearsal, your section may hold rehearsals on another day of the week.
